Composing a single class, the group composed of the Tocá Rufar players brings together and brings together disparate individuals whose social contexts do not normally intersect or know, but who, as participants in the project, acquire a position of equity. As dear members of a single family, they share a meeting place between generations, cultures, life experiences, school and academic careers, social groups, identities and where everyone is understood and considered solely for their dedication, friendship and merit.

    For Tocá Rufar everyone, child, youth, adult or senior is an auspicious person. Everyone is welcome and it's all free!

    Our teaching method is aimed at people over 6 years old and, from there, there is no age limit. Everyone is welcome and it's all free!

  • When are the tests carried out?

    The Orchestra's rehearsals take place every Saturday, from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm (arrive 15min. Before).

  • Where are the tests performed?

    The Orchestra's rehearsals are currently taking place at the CEA-VA Artistic Experimentation Center of Vale da Amoreira

  • What is a Rufina?

    Rufina is what we affectionately call all those registered in Tocá Rufar.

    In Tocá Rufar each one sets his own limits.

  • What instruments do we play?

    The Tocá Rufar shows result from the investment in free musical training for children, young people and adults, and the development of artistic projects for public presentation in which the interpreters are the students themselves.
